This Vancouver office location specializes in small to mid-sized projects for clients across Canada. The types of clients we work for include:

  • Heavy industrial Facilities
  • Oil & Gas
  • Refineries
  • Mining
  • Municipal & Utilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proofread and edit technical documents, proposals, procedures, studies, and other documents for grammar, readability, and consistency. Ensure compliance with company or client style guide
  • Format documents to match appropriate template
  • Create, maintain, and update staff resumes as required
  • Create, compile, and modify PDF files, including bookmarking, watermarking, and inserting form fields
  • Create and format Microsoft Visio workflows and organization charts
  • Assist staff with Microsoft Word-related questions and issues

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Receives direction and instructions on new assignments but is expected to operate independently.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, willing to learn, seeks and welcomes support, feedback, and input from others.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines on time-sensitive tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in editing National Instrument 43-101 reports.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Visio to create and update workflows.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Formal education in Business Administration, Communications, Writing, or related fields, or related experience in a consulting or institutional environment, is considered an asset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  •          A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. A copy of a valid work permit may be required.
  •          If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, identity, educational, and/or credit) and professional reference checks is required. Some Tetra Tech positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law.  These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
  • The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
