Role Summary

 

We are currently seeking a Project Support Coordinator for our Kincardine, ON office. You will be an integral part of assisting our project management team, providing multifaceted support across Administrative, Quality Coordination, Document Control, and office administrative functions. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Project Administration/Document Control

·         Work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineers to understand the project schedule/scope/resources, contractual documents, and client deliverables.

·         Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks: Logging Lessons Learned and reviews in internal and client applications, preparing meeting presentations and minutes, developing project plans, etc. 

·         Assisting project staff with deliverable editing/proofreading, etc. 

·         Provide routine document control support: completing quality checks to ensure documentation conforms to documentation and internal/external standards.

·         Quality Coordination

·         Assist the Quality Team with QA related tasks such as: Meeting Material, Supplier Management, Audits, Compliance Checks, etc. 

·         Conduct basic analysis and reporting of metrics 

·         Assist Engineering Managers with improvement initiatives and data collection/analysis

·         Office Administration

·         Provide general office support including: handing inquiries, assisting with scheduling meetings and meeting coordination, office supply management, Health and Safety & Event coordination support.

 Qualifications

·         College or University degree, preferably in a related field

·         3+ years of experience in administrative roles within an engineering or technical environment

·         Proficient with MS Office and project management tools; familiarity with Maximo is a plus

·         Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams

·         Must be able to obtain a government issues security clearance

Additional Information

A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)

Some Tetra Tech positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law. These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
