About the Role:

 

Our geotechnical team is expanding to meet the demands of our stable and full project pipeline. We prioritise scientific innovation, drawing on our extensive experience and commitment to delivering results that endure the test of time.

 

In this role you will be conducting fieldwork, preparing reports, scoping investigations, and performing analyses covering slope stability, liquefaction, settlement, and foundation bearing capacity. You will provide insights and reports for a diverse range of engineering projects, spanning various sectors, including transport, commercial / industrial, energy, education, and housing.

About You:

You have a drive for technical excellence, you thrive on tackling challenging projects of all sizes and complexities with innovative solutions and collaborative teamwork.

 

Ideally, you possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology or similar, with a strong desire to become CPEng or PEngGeol.

  • A minimum of 2 years of geotechnical engineering or engineering geology experience with a track record of successful technical delivery.

  • Experience with construction monitoring.

  • Commercial awareness of project budgets and costs.

  • Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills.

  • A strong team focus and enthusiasm for collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing.

  • New Zealand experience is preferred, and a valid NZ driver's license is a must.
