If this sounds appealing to you, then consider our entry level Engineer Professional Internship opportunity. The position is based in Multiple Locations across the United States.

 

 

The Internship position provides opportunity for an Engineering student to obtain experience that will further his/her education and/or career interests. The Intern will assist office engineering staff on various types of engineering projects. This is a 6-month, 40 hour per week internship. Ideal candidates have a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

 

Your Role:

Assist in the design and permitting of projects

Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses

Aid with the preparation of detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents

Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects

Plan, coordinate and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner

Assist and gain knowledge of planning, coordination and execution of work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliance manner while learning and following relevant codes and industry standards

Responsible to develop construction document/drawings appropriate to programmatic requirements under the direction of the Project Manager

Review and process shop drawings and submittals

Continually coordinate and interface with Engineering staff and all other engineering disciplines

Other duties as assigned by Project Manager

 

 

Qualifications:

Student enrolled in their second to fourth-year of Bachelor's Degree program in Civil, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, required.

Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

Course experience and progressive knowledge of relevant engineering principles

Familiarity with relevant engineering software/programs and Microsoft Office software, to include Word and Excel

 

Salary Range: $22 - $24 an hour, depending on experience.
