The opportunity

• Full-time ongoing role based in Australia (in office, hybrid or remote)
• Lead a high-performing team and build a culture of creativity, innovation and accountability.
• Drive strategic communications that influence policy, shape perceptions and enhance our market position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead innovative communication strategies aligned to market trends and business development goals.
• Create bold and compelling content that translates technical expertise into influence and engagement.
• Enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement across Indo-Pacific and global platforms.
• Manage all internal and external communications, including digital and media channels.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Marketing, Communications and Public Diplomacy team.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimise the impact of marketing investments.
• Align communication strategies with commercial objectives to support business growth.

Selection criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, International Relations or similar.
• 10+ years' experience leading communications strategies and teams, ideally in international development.
• Strong project management skills from concept to execution.
• Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• High-level writing, editing and media relations skills with crisis communications experience.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, Search Engine Optimisation, and analytics tools.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively across diverse teams and geographies.
