Over its five-year period (2022-2027), TALEEM will conduct various multi-country research, training, and analytical support activities to advance student learning and success in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Talent Development Initiative under TALEEM seeks to sponsor ICT networking certificates, lab equipment, software, and technology at local universities as well as to provide curriculum development at universities and through massive open online courses (MOOCs) to develop foundational partnerships and create long-term preferences based on open standards. The primary focus is MENA higher education ICT engineering departments, professors, and talented ICT students. TALEEM is conducting a mapping exercise of Algerian university computer engineering programs, private sector, and ministry ICT development initiatives.
