The opportunity

  • Permanent full-time role based in Australia – hybrid, remote, or in-office arrangements available
  • Lead and evolve strategic partnerships and client engagement approaches
  • Mentor a high-performing team and drive collaboration across functions
  • Influence bid strategies and programming quality through relational excellence

Key responsibilities

  • Champion tools and frameworks to optimise partner and customer relationships for growth and innovation.
  • Shape major bids and capture strategies, representing the organisation externally with impact.
  • Collaborate across teams to align client relationship and technical leadership with market priorities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior professionals with revenue generation KPIs.
  • Oversee formalisation of partnership agreements and strategic reporting processes.

Selection criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, international development or related field (postgraduate preferred).
  • Extensive senior-level experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities with proven commercial and programmatic impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and build trust in diverse cultural settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in bids and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of partnership value, governance, and risk.
