The opportunity
- Dive into the heart of our financial processes by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in budgeting and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Work closely with diverse teams across projects and corporate departments.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Payment Vouchers (PVs) for eligible expenses, ensuring proper coding and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to certify Payment Vouchers, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Process payments (cheques, EFT, petty cash) promptly and accurately, adhering to approval procedures.
- Enter and verify payment data in Tetra Tech accounting systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and manage the Fiji corporate office's Petty Cash Float, ensuring proper tracking and reconciliations.
- Generate customized financial reports as requested and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with corporate payroll for timely salary payments and submit tax information to Fiji's authorities.
- Assist with weekly cash flow management and implement strategies to address fraud risks.
Selection criteria
- An accounting qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience in accounting, finance, tax, and business administration operations.
- Experience in international development (desirable).
- Proficient in the use of accounting software – e.g., Quickbooks
- Demonstrated skills in business finance operations (approvals, payments, accounting, reporting, procurement)
- Excellent English, written and verbal
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
