Tetra Tech is seeking professional, motivated, and intelligent candidates to fill an Administrative Assistant position for our Federal Asset Management & Resource Management Groups. This position will support staff from both groups, provide office management duties in the Colorado Springs office, fulfill the role as the office safety manager, and support project related administrative tasks as needed. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Responsibilities:
• Completing expense reports for all personnel assigned to the Asset Management and Resource Management Groups (about 120).
• Tracking written products and coordinating technical editing, document formatting, and meeting minutes services.
• Interface with other EGS administrative, procurement, and logistics functions to track requirements.
• Serve as the Colorado Springs office manager, support delivery/package receipt, supply management, communicate office issues to building managers, support company vehicle management, support client/meeting hosting/events in the office.
• Office Occupational Safety and Health Representative Responsibilities:
• Be the focal point for Health & Safety (H&S) communications on matters of new/revised policy, programs, procedures, etc., with the expectation of assuring that such communications are shared with employees at assigned locations
• Attend monthly Safety Council TEAMS calls (and any other scheduled H&S calls, as they may arise) and share meeting content with managers and staff at assigned locations
• Be the local point of contact for employees at/connected to our Colorado Springs office for H&S suggestions, issues, etc. and assure that these are communicated to our H&S Dept.
• Assist with the coordination of scheduling appropriate medical surveillance physical exams (initial, annual/biennia, and exit)
• Assist with the collection and reporting of employee H&S training records, and assist with scheduling and organizing H&S training events
• Assist employees with prompt incident case intervention with CORE Occupational Medicine, and with prompt injury and illness and near miss reporting through TOTAL
• Ensure that the office(s) that they represent develop and maintain current Office Emergency Action Plans
• Assist with H&S on-boarding of new hires
• Assure that all new/transfer employees who have less than 6 months of relevant experience are enrolled in our Short Service Employee Program
• Support and collaborate with the Office Operations Manager to prepare and submit Monthly Office Health and Safety Reports
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
HS Diploma required. Must have at least 2 years of experience performing similar work.
Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must have 2 years or more experience performing administrative functions.
• Must be able to track the work of others, organize information, and create written products to support reporting on assigned tasks.
• Must be familiar with basic scheduling practices using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Must be able to read, understand, and implement Tetra Tech policies and procedures as applicable to expense reports and other duties as assigned.
• Prior experience working on expense reports highly desired; prior experience with General Services Administration (GSA) rates and Defense Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as applicable to travel expense reports desired.

Language & Communication Skills: The person hired for this position will require good oral and written communication skills in English.
Mathematical Skills:
The person hired must be able to perform basic financial calculations as needed to input accurate expense reports on behalf of others.
Other Skills: The person hired for this position must have strong computer skills and be able to use common software needed for producing written documents (Microsoft Office/Word and Adobe Pro).
The salary range for this position is $30,445 to $41,862. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
