Tetra Tech International Development is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for a Digital Strategy Intern for Business Systems for our Digital Strategy team. The position can be fully remote from a continental US-based location or hybrid within a commutable distance to either one of our office locations in Burlington, VT or Arlington, VA. 

 

Position Description: The Intern will participate in multiple digital transformation activities to modernize internal business systems and practices. The Intern will support digitalization of process changes, user adoption, training, and roll out of multiple digital transformation activities as they apply to a diverse portfolio of international development projects. This internship can help start a successful career in development, while building skillsets and expanding networks.

 

This internship is paid, and hours are flexible, between 24-40 per week. Duration is at least six months.

 

The internship will include but not be limited to the activities noted below:

* Support Digital Strategy team in managing and improving internal digital systems and tools;

* Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to map business process, develop system requirements, prototype, pilot, and deploy digital tools;

* Develop plans and communications for change management that address ongoing stakeholder needs and behavior change;

* Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidance to reflect system changes and new practices;

* Develop, support curation of, and deliver user-centered training resources;

* Design data visualizations for dashboards and reporting;

* Participate in team meetings and strategic workshops;

* Perform other relevant duties as identified by the Digital Strategy team.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree required (master's completed or in progress preferred) in a field related to international development, applied research, organizational development, business analysis, or information science;

* Demonstrated experience developing training and guidance resources for a diverse group of stakeholders;

* Experience developing change management communications preferred;

* Strong analytical skills, ability to think big picture strategy and navigate details to ensure accuracy;

* Experience with Microsoft 365 platforms (SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, etc.) and Salesforce preferred;

* Experience with data visualization software (Power BI or Tableau) preferred; 

* Demonstrated technical writing skills and capacity to synthesize high volumes of information into key messages and to various audiences;

* Clear and effective communications skills, especially across cultures and hierarchies absolutely required;

* Consistently strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through required;

* Strong interpersonal skills, energy, and an enthusiastic collaborator; and

* Ability to remain poised and focused in a fast-paced environment.

* Current U.S. work authorization is required at the time of application.
