Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for an Information Assurance Specialist to support DOS at Ft Novosel.  The BlueWater Team enables DOS to successfully deliver Initial Military Training (IMT) and Professional Military Education (PME) training & education, which utilize DOS' Live Virtual Constructive Gaming (LVC-G) simulation capabilities and infrastructure.

• Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the Army information system or Platform IT (PIT) system
• Implement and enforce all DOD information system and PIT system cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity-related documents
• Provide Information Assurance (IA) support, which includes, but is not limited to; ensuring everyone within DOS (Government and Contractors) as well as visitors that utilize the Government or DOS network computer systems meet all IA requirements
• Ensure that all contractors, government, and military personnel utilizing the DOS network and have all required IA training, approvals, and are cleared for access
• Review and evaluate the effects on security of system changes, including interfaces with other ISs and documents all changes
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, DOS IA SOP, and other documents required for DOS to meet Army IS cybersecurity requirements
• Processing training rosters to ensure accuracy and compliance with IA requirements
• Adding and deleting users from DOS Groups through the Global Federated User Directory (GFUD) system
• Managing users in Army Training Certification and Tracking System (ATCTS), verifying that they meet all training requirements
• Processing and submitting System Authorization Access Request (DD2875's) for NIPR, SIPR, EPs, PAAs, and Appointment Letters

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or other relevant fields is desired
• 2+ years of Information assurance experience
• In-depth knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS), Army Training and Certification System (ATCTS)
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Must have Security+ or CAP certification
• Knowledge of and experience with physical and virtual servers, SQL, Client Operating Systems, SAN, and Linux is desired
