Tenet Healthcare is looking for a General and Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant to help support our trauma program in the Rock Hill, South Carolina area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Trauma/ICU/General Surgery setting.

Summary

Under the direction of a physician, This position provides direct patient care for Trauma/General Surgery patients, including gathering a detailed history and performing physical exams. Full Time ( 4 10 hour shifts per week) plus call. This position will include rotating night shifts. Additional responsibilities include:

OR assist

IP rounding

Performs or orders tests and interprets results.

Administers therapeutic procedures as directed.

Instructs on care and maintains written charts and records on patients.

Maintains appropriate manual and electronic records (EMR).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited PA program.
• PA licensure; BLS; DEA eligible
