GENERAL POSITION PURPOSE: The Sr. Labor and Financial Analyst is responsible for payroll, labor & compensation program analysis for all companies within the Round Room corporate structure as well as financial forecasting & analysis for the Wireless Division. This position will require a close working relationship with various departments including the Business Sales Analyst, Field Leadership, and the VP of Finance. The Sr. Labor and Financial Analyst will need to complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions: • Creating Monthly Labor Reporting Package for Executive Team (Turnover report, Labor Forecast, Sales Bonus Trackers, Staffing Reports, etc) • Develop a Labor One Pager for the Executive Team and adjust and develop as requested by the President • Consolidating and Auditing Manual Bonus Programs in preparation for biweekly payroll • Analyzing Labor Trends and recommending improvements • Delivering data sets to leadership and presenting in an efficient manner • Effective communication with sales leaders in the company • Working closely with other departments to stay up to date on business needs • Weekly forecast for the month based on current trend • Annual forecast & plan for future years for Payroll and other Wireless Entities • Variance analysis of Target/Forecast/Actual performance for Payroll and other segments of the P&L as necessary • Maintaining weekly reports and communication of those reports to leadership • Create monthly and annual store level targets • Meet with field leadership as needed to review performance and provide feedback and recommendations for areas of improvement • Development of automated solutions for reporting, forecasting & analysis • Provide scenario analysis and reporting based on business needs • Performs all other duties as assigned with a willingness to adapt to changing department demand. Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 10+ years of payroll or finance experience, payroll experience is a plus. • Strong understanding of Excel required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional formatting, error checking) • Intermediate understanding of payroll concepts and best practices • Strong communication skills • Task focused with a good sense of deadlines • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce payroll platform a plus • Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus • Experience presenting and communicating sensitive information REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.
