GENERAL POSITION PURPOSE: The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the organization's cash management, liquidity, financing strategy, and financial risk management. This role ensures adequate funding for operations, optimizes capital structure, protects company assets, and supports long-term financial health. The Treasurer works closely with executive leadership, finance, accounting, and external financial partners.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Essential Job Functions: Lead daily, weekly, and long-term cash forecasting to ensure required/optimal liquidity. Develop and manage daily cash positioning, short-term borrowing, and investment strategies. Ensure uninterrupted supplier credit availability to support inventory flow and operational continuity. Forecast and monitor cash flows via DSOCF to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and growth initiatives. Optimize working capital and implement processes to improve cash efficiency. Evaluate, execute, and manage corporate financing arrangements, including debt facilities, credit lines, and leasing structures. Maintain relationships with banks, lenders, rating agencies, and financial institutions. Assess balance sheet structure and recommend changes to support strategic initiatives. Identify, assess, and manage financial risks including interest rate, currency, and credit risks. Oversee hedging strategies and derivative instruments in compliance with regulations and accounting standards. Ensure adherence to internal controls and treasury policies. Manage all banking relationships and negotiate terms, fees, and services. Oversee treasury systems, bank account administration, and process automation. Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments, collections, and cash transactions. Provide treasury insights to support long-range financial planning. Partner with FP&A and accounting to improve forecasting accuracy and support business initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, debt covenants, and corporate policies. Oversee treasury-related audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.  Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CTP/CPA a plus Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, finance, or capital markets. Demonstrated experience managing liquidity, financing, and financial risk for a mid-size or large organization. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job. Strong understanding of cash management, capital markets, and financial instruments. Proficiency with treasury management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and financial modeling. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to operate strategically while managing complex day-to-day treasury operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office D365, w/advanced excel proficiency level. Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, as well as to interact in a professional manner and collaborate across all functions of the company. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality within the workplace. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Routinely writes complex detailed reports and business correspondence.  Routinely presents information and responds to questions from groups of managers (may include Top Management) Makes decisions daily on use of resources, performance, and budgets and in support of the organization's strategic direction.     WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.   Typically works in a general office environment.  Overtime hours as needed   PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   Able to sit up to 90% of the time.
