Description
Join a busy private and well-established group of 5 FT OB/GYN physicians located in North Central CT within minutes of Hartford, 1.5 hrs from Boston, and a little over 2hrs from NYC. All of the 5 physicians do OB and the group shares call with another local group so there is a lot of flexibility, they have a great lifestyle-friendly call of 1:10 call with their post-call day off and they recently added a laborist in their practice and she shares in the call and helped to manage laboring patients! The group does a good mix of OB and GYN (they are about a 40/60 OB to GYN ratio) and they average 500 deliveries per year.
They work out of 4 offices and their main office is fully equipped with EMR, a procedure room, a moderate complexity lab, ultrasound, tech, etc. The hospital has a level IIB nursery and all services in-house. They have 5 CNMs in this collaborative practice and CNMs take 1st call and do the lion's share of the group's deliveries.
They are looking for a candidate who is a team player interested in a partnership-tracked position in a collaborative group practice who does a nice balance of both OB and GYN. The group scrubs together and will mentor the new physician if needed. This is a partnership-tracked position with a very competitive salary and benefits package!
