Job Summary:
The Appliance Repair Technician I (Refrigeration, A/C) is responsible for all duties related to the repair, adjustment, or installation of various electric or gas appliances such as refrigerators, window air conditioner units, water heaters, water softeners, etc. Must have the ability to communicate clearly with customers as well as work quickly and efficiently in customers' homes. Stine policies and safety guidelines must be adhered to very carefully. Must be able to travel.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Training and Knowledge: 5 years of previous sales, repair, or installation experience; customer service
- Job Knowledge: Knowledge of appliances
- Physical Demands: Work requires occasional heavy physical effort. It involves standing, much walking, and heavy lifting. Works in and out of an air-conditioned environment, heavily in private residences possibly with no air conditioning/heating.
- License/Certification:
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen
- Clean MVR
- Insurability for driving
- Freon/Seal System Certification
