Job Summary:

The Controller is responsible for the oversight of all accounting operations within the company.  Manages all accounting departments, protects the company's assests by monitoring and enforcing internal controls while identifying potential risks.  Oversees all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.  Works closely with the CFO.  Must have excellent management and supervisory skills and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.  Individual should be credible, dependable and be able to work independently as well as with a team.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
2. Training and Experience: Ten years or more of related experiece required with at least 3 of those in a management or leadership position. Preferred experience in CPA firm, however CPA license is not required.
3. Job Knowledge: Must be proficient in Microsoft programs (predominantly Excel); Must be highly skilled in numeric financial and numeric data. Requires high-level mathematical and problem solving skills in addition to exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
4. Physical Demands: Work requires little physical effort, involves sitting, standing, walking, and some light lifting on a regular basis.  Works in air-conditioned environment.
