The Trust Investment Analyst is to support the Portfolio Managers in managing discretionary investment portfolios while also being responsible for managing a small book of business. The primary function of this role is day-to-day portfolio strategy implementation, rebalancing, and monitoring across a board range of multi-asset class, multi-manager portfolios. The Trust Investment Analyst is part of the portfolio management team and works closely with Financial Advisors and manager selection and research teams to implement fiduciary appropriate investment ideas. The Trust Investment Analyst will also be responsible for higher level analytical reports to assist the overall team in risk management.



What We're Looking For

  • Invest portfolios in accordance with guidelines and target allocations
  • Liaise and coordinate with trading, operations, compliance, and client service areas
  • Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation guidelines, prepares customized reports and assists with quarterly client reviews.
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of strategy across client portfolios.
  • Works closely with research and investment due diligence teams, to support the fiduciary channel.
  • Responsible for conducting new account and annual Reg 9 reviews for trust company managed accounts.
  • Performs investment research, keeps informed of developments in investment management industry.
  • Assist in preparation of Investment Committee materials and responsible for recording minutes. Maintain department industry research and report information.
  • Research client inquiries, document account activities and client interactions
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by department management.


What You'll Bring

  • Understand and comply with all regulations, including 12CFR9, Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.


Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: Associate's degree in business administration or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum Required: 3+ years related experience in financial services


Licenses & Credentials

  • Minimum Required: None
  • Desired: CIMA, CFP, CFA, AIF or matriculations towards designation


Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • General experience with portfolio optimization and understanding of portfolio management software tools. (Morningstar, BondWorks, Bloomberg, Factset).
