Description
The Developer I, with assistance from the team, will participate in all phases of the development process including design, integration and maintenance while observing proper behaviors, patterns, and standards. The Developer I will master Stifel's best practices and ensure they are used in all development projects and procedures.
What We're Looking For
• Assist the Development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release and the maintenance of multiple products and systems
• Ability to use logic and reasoning when troubleshooting software issues.
• Assist in the development of procedures that can be utilized within continuous integration practices
• Ensuring Stifel's coding and development standards are being followed
• Document clearly and effectively within code and participate in documentation outside of code
• Coordinate with other team members when tackling harder developmental efforts
What You'll Bring
• Develop solutions to problems as well as manager multiple issues at the same time.
• Strong awareness of the impact of actions on the product or feature and acts in line with it.
• Ability to resolve problems, basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration with a team using knowledge of appropriate development environments
• Strong oral and written communication skills
Education & Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum Required: 0-2 years' of post Bachelor's progressive experience in software development
Systems & Technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience in C#/.NET, or relevant Java/C++ or equivalent relational database systems
• Experience with JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks (Angular, jQuery)
