The Cincinnati Office of 1919 Investment Counsel is currently offering a paid, summer 2025 internship to a college student entering her/his junior or senior year of college.
The Intern will provide specific project support to our office by learning about our investment processes and assisting the team with implementing projects aimed at gaining efficiencies. The Intern will have a strong grasp of technology and be interested in financial markets and instruments and comply with firm policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Attend Investment Meeting with the Team.
- Understand our Investment Process.
- Assist with projects aimed at building efficiencies in trading operations, account set up, and reporting.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- A junior or senior in college, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related area, such as Political Science. 1919ic also welcomes Humanities majors.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher desired.
- Intellectual curiosity, strong attention to detail, problem-solving mentality.
- Experience using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required.
- Salesforce, FactSet, Trading Software, preferred but not required.
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
- A professional, respectful demeanor and team-oriented personality.
- Comfortable working independently and on long- and short- term projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in the Cincinnati Office.
