Civilian contracted opportunity for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide full-time outpatient care to the U.S. military at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center located in Landstuhl, Germany. Clinic hours are Mondays to Fridays, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

This is a 2 year assignment.

We will safely relocate the provider upon all Government approvals, sometime in late Summer/early Fall 2021.

Currently, all providers are required to take a COVID test upon arrival and quarantine for 2 weeks. The quarantine period is paid time.

Qualification requirements are:

Education: Shall be board certified in Psychiatry by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or equivalent. The providers may be a new graduate of a psychiatric nurse practitioner program as long as they are board certified. Board eligible providers are not acceptable. The providers shall have graduated from an accredited educational college or university.

Experience: Shall have a minimum of two years full time experience as a practicing hands-on psychiatric nurse practitioner in the last four years. Residency time counts as practicing experience. Internship time does not count as practicing time. Time spent in an administrative capacity as a claims reviewer, medical school instructor, researcher, medical director, internet provider, pharmaceutical provider collecting data/observing patient outcomes, etc. does not qualify as practicing time. Grandfathered providers are not acceptable.

Licenses: Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or U.S. Virgin Islands. Possess and maintain at all times, at contractor expense, current certification in BCLS. BCLS is not the same as CPR training. BCLS shall be from the American Heart Association.

Certifications: Shall possess and maintain current course completion documentation for basic cardiac life support (BCLS) through an American Heart Association approved training program. The contract HCPs are responsible for maintaining these certifications in a current status at all time while performing services under this contract.
