Overview

This Intern Maintenance Worker will work in the Rutland AOT Fleet shop and will be assisting in the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment. This position will present the right candidate with a unique learning opportunity.

 

These positions are open to students between the ages of 16 to 18 years old that are actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent. The work schedules offer flexibility, with the ideal candidate being able to work full shifts on school breaks and/or as their school schedule allows. For more information about the work we do, please watch this brief video.

Who May Apply

This position, Transportation Intern Maintenance Worker (Job Requisition #51124), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be under 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications
