Overview

The Agency of Transportation is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to work out of the Berlin District 6 office. This position will be involved in daily office operations. Duties will include budgeting work, recruitment efforts, customer service, payroll and paying invoices. Strong computer skills are essential as a lot of the job functions are paperless and the ideal candidate will have competence in a variety of computers applications including MS Office. Additionally, the candidate must be able to multi-task and handle high stress situations.

 

As of July 14, 2024 the step 1 rate for pay grade 22 will be $25.10 per hour.

Work is performed in a standard office setting.

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years or more of full-time college level study OR a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field.

OR

Two (2) years of full-time college level study OR an associate's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

One year of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

High school diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Coordinator I with the State of Vermont.

Special Requirements

For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required.
