Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Solutioning
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop end-to-end automation solutions.
- Leverage diverse technologies, including RPA, LLMs, ML, BPM, and cloud-based tools, to design scalable, efficient solutions.
- Drive the development and approval of business cases, articulating the value of automation initiatives.
Technical Oversight
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure robust implementation and adherence to best practices.
- Introduce AI integration where appropriate, exploring opportunities for large language models and advanced machine learning applications.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding.
- Lead Agile Scrum teams, organizing work, eliminating impediments, and ensuring high-priority objectives are achieved.
- Mentor team members to build capabilities in automation methodologies and tools.
Project and Product Management
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, managing dependencies, resources, and risks effectively.
- Oversee backlog management and roadmap execution to align with business priorities.
- Develop and track project plans, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- Serve as a point of contact responsible for communicating project status, issues, and deliverables with both internal and external stakeholders
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation by piloting new technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems.
- Promote the adoption of Lean principles and Agile practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions and refine approaches as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in automation and process optimization, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of leveraging RPA, AI, and BPM to address business challenges.
Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as Blue Prism, UiPath, and Automation Anywhere.
- Strong understanding of AI applications, including ML models and large language models.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Leadership and Communication
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture.
- Certified Scrum Master or similar Agile certification is highly desirable.
Additional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Visio and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and best practices in automation delivery.
