About the role

UX designers play a key role in the look and feel of our products making sure they are designed to meet users' needs, be accessible, and meet technical and functional requirements.

As a UX designer, you will apply your knowledge of various design principles and work closely with all our teams to ensure user needs are represented as we deliver our products to the market.

UX designers work in product workstreams together with Product Owners (PO), Product Managers (PM) and sprint teams to deliver solutions and enhancements for the user experience of a specific product/project, aligning with the sprint cycle and attending ceremonies as appropriate.

They can escalate more complex items to Lead & Senior UX Designers as necessary to get greater insight into consistent implementation of components, patterns, and user flows.

Your Responsibilities

• To understand user-centred design practices and know-how to embed them into an agile workflow. This includes collaboration with UX designers, PMs, POs and sprint teams to deliver compelling user experiences:
  • Create user journeys and design solutions that bring together user needs, product strategy and project constraints.
  • Iteratively refine and communicate designs in a proactive manner to be implemented through our Design System
  • Contributing to Sprint ceremonies and ensuring good UX is taken into account at all stages of delivery.
  • Being responsible for product workstreams with the supervision from a Senior or Lead Designer. This includes planning actions and managing communications with project stakeholders.
  • Contributing to design outputs for product workstreams, both independently and with other UX designers, depending on project requirements.
  • Systematically keeping track of design activities & documentation through Jira tickets
• Collaboration across UX design team to:
  • Communicate ongoing product & sprint work
  • Review designs across products to ensure a consistent design approach taking into account end-to-end user journeys
  • Working with UX researchers to establish goals and methods of studies, and implementing research insights where applicable
