About the Role

We're looking for a QA Engineer - Automation to join our Product Development team at Blue Prism!

Preferred skills

• 3+ years' experience working as a QA Engineer.
• Hands on test automation experience using Selenium (POM) and (ideally) C# based frameworks.
• Possess good conceptual knowledge about frontend/backend automation frameworks.
• Experience with Specflow BDD test automation framework.
• Proven track record in eliciting test scenarios from user stories and designing tests to provide comprehensive test coverage.
• Experience in extracting test scenarios, devising test cases and automating these using a range of techniques.
• Knowledge of BDD scenario design principles.
• Good understanding of SQA process, QA methodology, and SDLC.
• Experience working in fast paced Agile environments.
• Previous experience in multicultural environments, within distributed teams.

Good to have

• Experience testing native cloud-based solutions and their deployment infrastructure.
• Understanding of CI/CD, familiar with Azure Devops.
• Good SQL database interrogation and manipulation skills.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Software testing certification e.g., ISTQB or equivalent.

• Worked with multiple technologies and adaptable to designing automation using various toolsets.
• Possess ability to balance test coverage with time limitations to manage and communicate any perceived risk with business stakeholders in a professional manner.
• You will be passionate about quality and take ownership of the quality of our product in all aspects.
• You will be able to clearly document manual test cases so that other team members can easily understand purpose, actions and expected outcomes.
• You will be adaptable in various testing methodologies, & practices, and tools that complement the software quality process.
• You will be a self-starter who finds solutions rather than problems and is easily able to adapt to new technologies.
