Job Description

Overview

To Participate in the Testing and Quality Assurance of software implementations for new and existing projects. To Join a Test Team responsible for delivering testing across multiple systems and business processes.  Core responsibilities comprise: -

Test Analysis

• Participating in Analysis of Requirements\Design documentation
• Creating Test Scenarios\Cases from Requirements\Design documentation
• Working with Delivery teams to understand the steps required for Test Execution

Test Execution

• Smoke Testing of Test Environments in readiness for Test Execution
• Executing Test Scenarios\Cases as per the agreed Test Plan
• Raising of Issues\Queries in the Defect Management Tool
• Participation in Defect Triage
• Re-testing of Defects

Client Support

• Ensuring Client Test Environments are available
• Supporting the resolution of Client Queries\Issues

• General experience in the financial sector, preferably Life and Pensions industry
• Previous Experience\Participation in a Testing Phase of a Project

• Experience with MS Excel, including with Excel formulae
• Experience with Databases and SQL
• Experience with API Testing Frameworks
• Experience with Environment Support
