Tasked with managing the complexities of this significant transformation, this team will focus on key areas such as operational integration, system harmonisation, and cultural alignment, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. With a combination of experts from various disciplines, including change management, IT, finance, and operations, this team will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and drive synergies across both organisations. Their primary goal is to seamlessly merge the two entities, driving growth, optimising resources, and setting the foundation for future innovation and success.

As a Project Manager, you'll take charge of effectively planning, coordinating, and delivering projects while managing interdependencies across the board. In this key role, you'll identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring smooth execution. You'll also focus on realising project benefits and maintaining cost efficiency to deliver value at every stage.

Please note this is a 18 Month Fixed Term Contract
- Plan and design projects, proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to SS&C's governance and delivery frameworks, ensuring quality assurance and maintaining overall project integrity.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure alignment of costs with outcomes and realized benefits.
- Facilitate team appointments and ensure the delivery of high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Effectively allocate resources, manage third-party contributions, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, address any gaps or issues, and support the transition to business-as-usual operations alongside the business change manager.
- Provide regular project progress reports to key stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
- Project Management qualifications such as Prince2 or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Proven experience delivering IT, people, and administration projects, including transitions for superannuation mergers and acquisitions.
- Demonstrated success in planning, executing, and delivering large, complex programs/projects on time and within budget.
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal skills, and clear communication to foster strong team dynamics.
- Ability to command respect and create a cohesive, collaborative team environment.
- Solid understanding of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs.
- Expertise in business case development, approvals, and decision-making processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, including successful negotiation with third parties.
- Proficient in program and project management methodologies such as MSP and Prince2.
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation processes for efficient project execution.
- Ability to provide senior guidance and credibility to project teams on program-related matters.
- Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they arise.
