Overview
The purpose of this role is to lead and mentor a team of developers throughout the SDLC, and actively participate in the development of the Percana product. The Technical Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the development team produce high quality code, adhere to defined coding standards, and deliver within agreed timeframes.
Acting as the conduit between architecture and developers, the technical lead participates in technical specification handovers, and is accountable for their implementation. There will be occasions when the tech lead will produce technical specifications and participate in designing solutions. This needs to be a hands-on role which will include coding, reviews and analysis.

- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- 5+ years' experience leading development teams
- Managing and motivating development resources
- Experience in the entire SDLC utilizing a formal development process such as Agile/Waterfall
- Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able and willing to learn complex business processes
- Ability to solve problems
Required Technical Skills
- 10+ years' experience in development role
- Strong C# language experience, Net Framework 4.5+, WCF, Windows Forms, HTML, XML
- Strong MS SQL Server experience – TSQL, Stored Procedures
- Automated unit test frameworks
- VSTS CI / CD Integration
- Best practice OO concepts
- Produce & support technical specifications for development teams
Desirable Skills
- Pension and Insurance industry experience
- Experience refactoring legacy systems
- Microsoft WebAPI (RESTful) design & development
- Azure Cloud development, Amazon Web Services
- S.O.L.I.D Design Principles
- SQL Server DBA exposure
- .Net Core
- SignalR, Docker, C# A.O.P
