Head of Client Relationships Fund ServicesLocations: Sydney or Melbourne
Opportunity snapshot:The Head of Client Relationships role will be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne office and has the overall responsibility to lead, manage and own the strategic and commercial management of existing client relationships. The role is also responsible for sales leadership and management within Australia & New Zealand building sustainable propositions for the local market and deliver against the region's revenue goals.
This role is focused on a range of products with the portfolio consisting of:
- Transfer Agency & Fund Administration services
- A registry platform for Transfer Agency and Fund Administration Services

- Responsible for the local sales and marketing strategy, building and executing against a sales plan to deliver profitable revenue growth.
- Leads the revenue forecasting process for Australia, working with Finance to ensure an update accurate view on expected sales revenues from existing accounts.
- Responsible for executive relationships and stakeholder management within the client base, ensuring high client satisfaction across all business unit functions.
- Works in conjunction with marketing to develop the local marketing campaigns and strategy.
- Responsible for the partner strategy aligned to the local business goals.
- Leads the client relationship team to achieve the financial targets for the region.
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs, to effectively position SS&C
- Ensures the client relationship team has well developed client plans aligned with the region's strategy and business plan to meet the revenue goals.
- Responsible for the well-being, growth and career development of the client relationship team in Australia, working with HR to ensure a high employee engagement.
- Ensures all client proposals are commercially viable and achieve required solution margins.
- Ensures client retention and high client satisfaction across the customer base.
- Maintain and develop personal relationships with key and senior client contacts internally and externally.
- Ensure a detailed understanding of our client's business, products, strategy, requirements and understand the impact on SS&C's service offering.
- Liaise with Leads and Heads of internal business areas to monitor and ensure timely and quality service provided.
- Achieve Year on Year Growth and individuals / team sales targets through understanding the financial drivers of stakeholders.
- Support new business proposal processes through a deep understanding of SS&C's products, services and technologies and how these can add value to a client's business.
- Lead all commercial and contractual relationships.
- Work with our clients and SS&C teams to always ensure customer satisfaction and communicate with internal stakeholders and Directors of any potential areas of concern.
- Senior point of contact for escalations and owns the resolution process.
- Drive process improvement and change through awareness of all client change requests/projects and how they fit into their strategic roadmap of change.
- Manage a team of high performing employees and continue to develop talent.
- Responsible for provision of relevant information to client contacts and internal stakeholders in a timely manner and in an appropriate format.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record in client relationships, hitting targets and growing clients.
- Strong network within the fund management industry.
- Proven executive stakeholder management.
- Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy.
- Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory environment.
- A good understanding of the client service model, business strategy, structure and product offering.
- Excellent Communication skills.

- 10+ Year's client relationship management experience.
- Proven track record in supervisory or management experience.
- Detailed knowledge of Transfer Agency, Fund Administration and associated services.
- Experience working with technology and outsourced administration solutions.
