Curious about how finance works behind the scenes? Want to help fix real problems and make things run smoother?
Join SS&C as a Graduate in Operational Finance and be part of a team that's at the heart of keeping things accurate and accountable. You'll dive into financial break management, spotting issues, helping teams fix them, and reporting on it all to internal leadership and external clients.
About SS&C:
SS&C is a global technology and services provider for the financial industry. Our clients rely on us to help them grow, stay compliant, and operate efficiently—and we rely on talented people like you to help make that happen.
At SS&C, our Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) and Retirement Solutions
(RS) divisions are engineered to help financial institutions navigate the challenges
of today's global markets. With cutting-edge technology and world-class services,
our clients trust us to help them stay ahead of the competition, enhance operational
efficiency and accelerate growth—no matter where they operate.
What you'll be doing:
- Helping build a new break management oversight function in Operational Finance
- Working closely with both onshore and offshore teams
- Understanding the causes of breaks (where things go wrong in processes) and helping fix them
- Communicating results and insights to management and clients
- Supporting process improvements and documentation
What we're looking for:
- A degree (2:2 or above); financial/accountancy understanding is a bonus
- A strong level of Microsoft Excel skills (this is a must!)
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive mindset with ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working with people and across teams
What you'll learn:
In your first 6 months, you'll build your understanding of financial operations and break processes. By 9 - 12 months, you'll reach an intermediate level where you'll confidently support the team and clients. By 14 - 16 months, you'll be helping train others and writing process guides and manuals to share your knowledge
Why join us?
- A clear career path and promotion opportunities after the programme
- Support to gain a professional qualification
- Access to a mentor and a strong graduate support network
- The chance to work across teams and possibly travel to other offices
- Full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm)
Important to know:

- Applications close 25th July, but may close earlier if we receive a high volume
