As Director of Loan Operations, you'll lead a highly skilled team responsible for the full lifecycle servicing of syndicated bank loans — from trade settlement and loan administration to agency and closing services.

What You'll Do
Lead and mentor the Loan Operations team servicing a variety of structures including SMAs, CLOs, hedge funds, and private debt
Oversee the complete servicing cycle — trade settlements, loan closings, funding, paydowns, rollovers, and reconciliation
Ensure operational integrity, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across all processes
Collaborate with SS&C's clients, agent banks, custodians, and internal departments to resolve complex issues
Enhance workflows, implement controls, and champion automation to improve scale and efficiency
Act as a subject matter expert on syndicated bank loans for internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to strategic initiatives, support new client onboarding, and partner with sales on service model enhancements
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years in financial services, with deep experience in syndicated loan servicing
At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven ability to build, coach, and motivate teams
Hands-on knowledge of the full loan lifecycle, including trade closings, funding, agency services, and interaction with agent banks
Familiarity with systems such as Advent Geneva, WSO, or other loan servicing platforms
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you're confident presenting to clients, mentoring staff, and engaging cross-functional partners
