What You Will Get To Do:
A Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst partners with cross-functional teams to support process enhancements, document workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assist in staff training on updated practices. The role also involves monitoring the effectiveness of changes through key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring alignment with Australian industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Analyse and document business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Use tools like Visio, Miro, and Excel to map processes and conduct root cause and gap analyses
Recommend and support the implementation of improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
Collect and interpret data to track performance, build dashboards, and monitor KPIs
Assist with developing SOPs, conducting testing, and ensuring changes align with policies and regulations
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights, facilitate workshops, and ensure alignment
Support communication, training, and change management efforts for process changes
Coordinate and track continuous improvement projects, ensuring timelines and outcomes are met
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards (e.g., WorkSafe, ISO)
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by sharing best practices and supporting teams
What You Will Bring:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Agile
Skilled in process mapping (e.g., Visio) and root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram)
Experience using tools like Excel and Power BI for data analysis and performance reporting
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
Solid project management skills, with knowledge of frameworks such as PRINCE2 and PMP
Familiarity with change management models like ADKAR and Kotter's 8 Steps
2–5 years of experience in process improvement, data analysis, or operational excellence roles
Industry experience in financial services, healthcare, logistics, consulting, or manufacturing is an advantage
