Description
What you will do: As an employee-owner, you will own the Quality Management System and customer satisfaction with products and services provided by SRC Electrical. The Quality Manager coordinates the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of internal and external product performance data to drive quality improvement and customer satisfaction. Quality Technicians and Warranty Technicians report to this role.
Some Essential Duties:
- Implement and maintain a documented quality program to meet customer and company requirements.
- Execute Quality Management System to maximize customer satisfaction, reduce errors, and improve efficiencies.
- Use internal nonconforming, warranty, customer complaint, and field failure data to drive continual improvement and corrective action activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to data driven corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvements for improved customer satisfaction.
- Keep all levels of personnel informed of quality performance and customer satisfaction metrics with line of sight as to how they can impact those metrics.
- Review as required customer proposals, requests for quotations and/or purchase orders, including changes, to determine quality requirements, and insure their input into internal planning.
- Establish/maintain relations with customer representatives in quality related activities such as source inspection, audits and process surveys.
- Manage the calibration program and MSA activities to meet customer requirements.
- Interface with other departments to provide assistance in resolving problems affecting quality.
- Ensure conformance to quality program requirements through external/internal audits and corrective action program.
- Assess supplier qualification to ensure their ability to meet necessary quality requirements.
- Establish and implement quality-awareness programs, perform audits, develop systems to track, and report results.
Qualifications: Five years' experience in quality, engineering, or warranty in a manufacturing facility. Degree in a qualified field preferrable. Experience supervising and leading teams. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Automotive OE Requirements (AIAG-FMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.) or similar quality system requirements.
