Description
What you will do: As an employee-owner, you will report to the Director of Operations this position will serve as the central control for advanced planning and scheduling of Production. You will ensure level production schedules to meet demand and minimize production head count fluctuation. Plan finished goods inventory to optimize production schedules and meet expected customer demand while controlling costly fluctuations in employment levels. You would work closely with the Expeditor/Sales Team, communicate with customers on order confirmations, order/ship to location adjustments, and shipping discrepancies. Manages and supervises the scheduling staff.
Qualifications: Strong computer and communication skills. Minimum 2 years scheduling, preferably for a manufacturing plant. Previous experience supervising a small team of 2-4 people.
