Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Follow company safety procedures, JSA's and work instructions. These include but are not limited to compliance with OSHA standards including, Lock Out/ Tag Out, Confined Space Entry, Arc-Flash and Electrical safety
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts unsafe for operation and prepares reports documenting work performed.
- Read and interpret machinery manuals and maintenance request to perform repairs or service.
- Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repairs broken machinery quickly and efficiently.
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Performs regular maintenance on machines.
- Collaborates with maintenance supervisor and production regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
- Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs.
Key Qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of troubleshooting 3 phase electrical and mechanical systems. Hydraulics, PLC, and welding are a plus.
- 3 years of multi-craft experience in an industrial environment
- Vocational or Associate's degree in Industrial Controls and Automation Technology or related course experience, preferred
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting and programming preferred, but training will be offered
- Computer skills with MS office products, preferred.
