Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Current DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
- Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to work well both independently and within an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
- Experience in DOORS or Jama required, experience in Jama strongly preferred.
- Experience leading the execution of a requirements engineering process on an integrated system program.
Desired Qualifications:
- Skills in Jama REST, advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint & VBA, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, MagicDraw & Cameo Modeler are highly desirable.
- Experience supporting a hardware development programs from proposal through verification for space flight hardware or equivalent is also desirable.
- Experience on a hardware development program: proposal/development/manufacture/verification.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
The Engineer will provide support on a large, integrated system and will be supporting the development of technical requirements while also supporting a cross-functional team in all facets of the requirements engineering process. Additionally, this engineer will help architect requirements processes on key large programs and support a requirements process improvement team with responsibility for: meeting yearly process improvement milestones, participate in the management of relevant process training, maintaining process documentation, supporting management & administration of the requirements management tools, identifying/tracking/taking action on requirements metrics, and overall process excellence across the department.
