Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI
- Ability to sit for, and pass, a CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in federal acquisition or contract management with a focus on pre-award and post-award processes
- Competency in contract management tools, reporting systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in federal acquisition or contract management with a strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Expertise in acquisition planning, proposal evaluation, cost/price analysis, and proficiency with contract management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of government budgetary processes and financial management as it relates to contracts
Responsibilities
- Act as a business advisor, providing expertise on acquisition strategies, contract types, market research, and contracting methods, including sole source and competitive procedures.
- Prepare acquisition-related documents (e.g., Acquisition Research Center (ARC) postings, Acquisition Plans, and Contract Review Panel briefings).
- Conduct continuous compliance reviews and resolving contract performance issues.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives (COTRs), and Contracting Officers (COs) to provide daily financial and business management support.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Source Selection processes.
- Identify and implement efficiencies to improve contract operations, documentation, and compliance.
- Develop and present contract-related recommendations to management, including resource allocations and corrective actions.
