Required Qualifications:

• Eligible for a DoD Secret security clearance
• Minimum ten (10) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise performing parametric modeling using one or more of the following: Solidworks; Catia; Pro-E; NX; Solidedge; Rhino; or Autodesk Inventor
• Minimum two (2) years of experience with CAD data management processes

We are seeking a dedicated senior-level 3D CAD Modeler to provide critical Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) / Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) support for NAVSEA's Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) portfolio in Dahlgren, VA.

For this critical work, we are looking for a proactive senior 3D CAD Modeler to provide expertise in the areas of Navy ship topside design standards, such as antenna numbering standards; importing existing CAD models into Autodesk Inventor format; developing models that will be used for electromagnetic simulations of radio-frequency propagation involving shipboard antennas; and generating and maintaining 3D CAD models of U.S. Navy ships and other structures for use in ITD and Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) analyses, which include CAD model assemblies with greater than 100 components. 

You must have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 4-5 days per week on average.
