Our Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office. #FC Responsibilities We are seeking a Program Manager to support an important Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer. Candidate will support client responsible for arming warfighters with innovative capabilities by delivering force-level integrated and interoperable engineering solutions, mission critical control systems, and associated testing and training technologies. Position responsibilities include provision of efficient combat system test and evaluation for Navy Surface Combatant combat systems in support of computer program development, maintenance, and fielded combat systems fleet support. The primary work location for this position will be at SPA's offices near Dahlgren, VA. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least three (3) years of experience in contract/program management related to tactical embedded computer systems DoD SECRET security clearance Desired Qualifications: At least ten (10) years of experience in combat systems engineering supporting the engineering, design, development, testing, evaluation, maintenance, build, installation, documentation, or configuration management of Navy systems At least eight (8) years of experience in computer software engineering, specifically within one or more of the following areas: Approved Articles Package (AAP) development and review; combat system software audit and verification; combat system software installation (shipboard and/or test site); configuration and troubleshooting of network communication protocols; configuration and operation of blade server, VMEbus single board computer, and symmetric multiprocessing hardware and software; and use of Linux-based operating systems (e.g. Solaris, RedHat, RedHawk, HP-UX), operating system-level virtualization, and/or Kubernetes At least eight (8) years of experience in computer software Test & Evaluation (T&E), specifically within one or more of the following areas: test requirements development, test plan development, test data analysis, and/or computer program performance analysis At least five (5) years of experience providing computer software program management, documentation, and fleet support for developmental or operational U.S. Navy tactical or tactical support-related systems
