Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in policy (e.g. Political Science) or management (e.g. Business) field.
  • 10+ years experience supporting program or policy analysis, including experience working with DoD, military services, or defense industry.
  • Experience working on Congressional and Public Affairs actions for highly complex and highly visible projects or programs.
  • Proven experience working on congressional issues, and in-depth understanding of the congressional life cycle.
  • Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.

 

Additional Qualifications Desired, but not required:

  • Experience working on submarine or undersea related programs.
  • Experience supporting senior (flag/SES-level) government clients.
  • Experience with Defense Acquisition System DoD 5000 series and Navy or DoD program planning (DAWIA level certification).
  • Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes.


Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will provide program and policy analysis to acquisition programs and industrial base management activities. The candidate will coordinate senior client strategic planning, provide analytic support to Navy acquisition organizations, and assist in implementing solutions to project challenges such as supplier base or industrial capacity constraints.  This position would work at SPA HQ and client site on the Washington Navy Yard.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Range:  $100-$145k.
