Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in graphic design
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take abstract, complex concepts and apply creativity and artistic talent to create visually appealing and easily understandable graphics 
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software applications
  • Ability to provide representative samples of work product from portfolio

Additional Qualifications Desired, but not required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
  • Experience in public affairs, congressional relations, or supporting government clients
  • Experience with, and knowledgeable of, Navy program office organizations and processes


Responsibilities

The Analyst will provide graphic design support to the strategic communication efforts of the AUKUS nuclear-powered submarine program. Specific duties would include developing graphics for strategic communication deliverables, coordinating across stakeholder communication activities, and proactively addressing client requests. This analyst will participate in project teams supporting high-profile or complex projects, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. The analyst will also research, interpret, implement, and adhere to company and customer style guides, policies and guidelines.

 

This position can be fully remote or seated at SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA with light telework.
