Responsibilities This role will serve as Patriot Hardware Engineer SME and technical authority. The incumbent shall have knowledge and experience of the Patriot Radar System and supporting components of the Patriot Missile System. Support a team of multi-functional government and contractor personnel to support modernization and sustainment of the PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment (GSE) managed by the product office, with primary focus on IESP area. Assist the GSE IESP/MOD Lead in managing development of configuration control to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives on technology products applicable to PATRIOT performance, sustainment, obsolescence mitigation and modernization. Remain cognizant of relevant PATRIOT and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) requirements and state of technology readiness of applicable technologies to support transition of PATRIOT fleet to IBCS. Provide technical support and coordination for PM PATRIOT GSE on various areas including Cyber and Information Assurance, International Engineering Service Program/Modernization, Configuration/ Production, Software, Systems Engineer, Test and Evaluation to sustain and modernize PATRIOT fleet for both US and FMS users. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years relevant experience FMS experience Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) Effective communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders 5 – 10 years Patriot Missile System / Support Equipment Experience Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment Desired Qualifications: STEM Master's degree Experience working in Defense ecosystem (e.g., familiarity with requirements process, developing retrofit kits, supporting engineering fielded systems)
