Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- U.S. Citizen with active DoD clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience, particularly in the areas of finance, accounting, or budget analysis.
- Strong analytic skills, critical thinking, and computer skills including experience with data base management and the ability to quickly learn databases used in Navy financial planning/tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, charts/graphs, vlookup, and other basic math functions).
- Professional knowledge pertaining to Defense procurement and administrative processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Detailed experience with NEPS.
- Experience/knowledge of Navy acquisition program office organizations and processes.
- Experience with the US Navy Budget and PPBE process.
Responsibilities
The Financial/Program Analyst will provide financial support to the Navy SLCM-N program, focusing on financial planning for the system acquisition and development projects. Responsibilities will include financial planning and coordination of program wide activities; supporting development of integrated budgets and POM submittals, maintaining and updated the NEPS database; and collaborating directly with the program financial team and technical leadership to determine and prioritize objectives.
This position is located in Alexandria, VA with some opportunity to travel to client and industry stakeholder locations.
