  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Statistics

  • 2+ years of experience performing earned value analysis for government acquisition programs

  • Experience with Space programs a plus

Responsibilities

SPA supports multiple programs at US Space Force's Space Systems Center, including the Kobayashi Maru software factory. SPA is a force enabler to USSPACECOM for POM strategies, program substantiation, JCIDS, and requirements management. We provide highly qualified expertise to NASA's Safety and Mission Assurance operations. We also deliver high-end advisory services to the Intelligence Community's in support of strategic objectives, transformation initiatives and acquisition, technical, and business processes.

 

  • Provide a broad range of Earned Value Management support for the Space Systems Command. This includes review and assessment of official program documents including Acquisition Strategy Plans, Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements Lists, Policies, Department of Defense/Air Force/Center guidance/instruction, Integrated Master Plans, and Program Contractor Proposals for solicitations for compliance and consistency with Earned Value Management and schedule standards and best practices.
  • Requires EVM analysis across a variety of standard schedule analysis activities and includes developing and recording risk-based and comprehensive estimates-at-completion (EACs), including confidence level (SCurve) utilizing the best practices and techniques as outlined in the GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide.
  • Recommend corrective actions to record the findings and advise/deliver the analysis to the Government is included in position responsibilities.
  • In coordination with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), this position requires assessment of contractors' EVM data, including analysis of programmatic and management issues, and the contractors' approved EVMS description for compliance with DCMA, DoD, NDIA IPMD and ANSI/EIA requirements.

 

This position will offer a hybrid working model.  Qualified candidates will be required to work onsite in El Segundo 1 day a week.  You should be within a comfortable driving distance to El Segundo.
