SPA has an immediate need for a Customer Engagement & Security Administrator supporting the Corporate Security Team. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Engagement & Security Administrator to provide on-site security support in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The selected candidate will play a critical role in supporting all aspects of personnel and physical security programs to ensure the safeguarding of classified information and delivering security excellence. Responsibilities Customer Engagement Manage client inquiries ensuring timely and effective communication and resolution of issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships. Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, contracts, and customers, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of security policies. Track and report customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement in services and customer support. Collaborate with internal teams to align with client expectations and requirements. Security Administration Manage day-to-day industrial security operations in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD directives, and company policies. Process personnel security clearances, visit authorizations, access forms, and classified contract documentation. Maintain accurate security records and files in systems such as DISS, NISS, NBIS, eAPP, and NCCS. Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual training to ensure compliance and awareness across cleared staff. Support the development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures for safeguarding classified and sensitive information. Support access control procedures and manage badge issuance and accountability. Support Headquarters and branch office Closed Areas. Ensure proper safeguarding, storage, and destruction of classified material. Assist with physical security inspections and support self-inspections in alignment with NISPOM requirements. Assist in maintaining facility accreditation documentation (e.g., Fixed Facility Checklists, diagrams, alarm testing logs). Support security incident response and reporting processes as required. Cross-Functional Duties Coordinate with program managers and functional teams to ensure security requirements are met during personnel changes and contract transitions. Assist in audits and inspections by government agencies or prime contractors. Maintain metrics on both customer engagement and security program performance for internal reporting and continuous improvement Compliance and Program Support Provide support during DCSA assessments and ensure documentation is organized, compliant, and readily accessible. Ensure all activities adhere to the requirements outlined in NISPOM and company security policies. Assist the Facility Security Officer and security team with ongoing compliance and documentation efforts. Other duties as assigned to support a gold standard security program. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active Top Secret and eligible for Top-Secret/SCI clearance 5+ years of experience in personnel and physical security within the DoD or contractor environment Experience with DISS, NISS, NBIS, eQIP Working knowledge of the NISPOM, security clearance process, and secure areas Strong communication, organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills Desired Qualifications: Experience with NISPOM personnel security processes and procedures Experience supporting open storage area operations Familiarity with classified material control procedures Experience with SIMS, WinPak, and CCURE systems CDSE certifications and active member in a security organization
