Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- At least five years' experience in systems/requirements engineering for DoD clients
- 4+ years experience in Navy Combat Systems (AEGIS)
- Ability to work from Dahlgren, VA area regularly
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Navy combat system testing
- Experience with systems development and/or testing and creating/reviewing technical documentation
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Combat Systems Engineer (SE) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Integrated Combat Systems Department (V).
You will support the Combined Integrated Air & Missile Defense and Anti-Submarine Warfare Trainer (CIAT) at NSWCDD. You will assist in CIAT systems engineering activities, such as supporting site deliveries, detailed intregration planning, needs assessments, requirements flow down and assessment, and requirements management.
You must have the ability to provide senior-level briefings and communications and have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 5 days per week on average with some travel expected (up to 25%).
