Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 15+ years in Undersea Warfare assignments, including in leadership roles
- Experience as a Chief of Staff or Deputy Program Manager within Team Submarine
- Experience leading teams in developing rigorous analytic solutions to top-level government and military issues and addressing client questions and issues
- Exercising independent judgment and ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Current DOD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with contract managmeent and business development
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales
- Ability to develop business relationships and generate/maintain funding to support small to mid-size teams and work collaboratively with company executive level management
- Experience in military operations analysis, including requirements definition, conduct of analyses of alternatives, the JCIDS process, and DoD Acquisition experience
Responsibilities
The candidate will work as a Portfolio Deputy supporting the AUKUS leadership team. Responsibilities will include strategic planning for SES and flag leadership, managing a team of SPA and teammate personnel, mentoring subordinate managers and analysts, leading organic business development activities, and ensuring quality of AUKUS contract deliverables.
