We are seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Infrastructure Services & Libraries (ISL) Product Owner (PO) to join our team to support Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC), a government project office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with a focus on Mission Command systems. The candidate in this role will work with both contractors, government civilians, and system operators. Responsibilities The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the Infrastructure Services & Libraries (ISL) agile team. The position will include reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The PO will support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for software updates and be responsible for their verification. The product owner will work with Program Management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership. The product owner will report on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics Good understanding of at least some of the following: ansible and/or other scripting languages Good understanding of data logging and archiving best practices Good understanding of weapon system component health & status reporting best practices Good understanding of the DDS standard Good understanding of C++ and Java code Candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developer Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above Be a US citizen Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance or higher Desired Qualifications: Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS Ability to “move out” and apply critical thinking to technical issues involving team Experience in Microsoft Office and JIRA/Confluence
