Systems Engineer
General Robotics (a SIG SAUER company) is a leading developer and supplier of advanced defense systems to special forces. Our systems are designed to provide remote situational awareness and engagement capabilities to increase the survivability of special forces.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the development of complex, multi-disciplinary defense systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong system engineering background and a proven ability to lead and contribute to all phases of the system lifecycle.
FLSA: Exempt
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain system requirements, architecture, and design.
• Lead system integration and test activities internally and with third-party strategic partners
• Perform system performance analysis and modeling.
• Manage system interfaces and dependencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, software, hardware, and test.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and lead projects with strategic partners.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering for multi-disciplinary advanced defense systems.
• Strong understanding of system engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Solidworks, Agile).
• Experience with requirements management and configuration management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience with specific defense system domains
• Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Aerial advanced defense systems
Working Conditions:
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
